Fabian Molano - About me

so, who am I?

What you see here is who I am! These images are the result of mixing everything I've done in my life, all the books I've read, the times I've messed up, everything my students have taught me, all the experiences I've learned from my patients, my travels, the countries I've lived in, the teachers I've had, and the desire to live La Vida Loca.

In Spain, we say I'm a "culo inquieto", which means I'm always doing, learning, and giving. I won't tell you that photography was always my one passionate love, because it wasn't! I've had many other loves that have taught me a lot. You see, I like metaphors. The great advantage for you is that in one professional, you'll find the value and experience of several.

If grabbing a coffee with friends, living new experiences, and being authentic is as important for you as it is for me, then you've come to the right place. It will be a pleasure to meet you and create something new that's easy and fun!

In case you really want to know more.

  1. You won't believe it, but before becoming a photographer, I dedicated my life to many other things. For many years, I worked as a Coach in Chinese medicine psychology and at the same time as a therapist specializing in physical recoveries, particularly in muscle contractures, and I was quite good at it, honestly!

  2. I worked at the best Tennis clubs in Barcelona, the Bonasport Tennis Club and the La Salut Tennis Club. There, I worked as a personal trainer and therapist, making very good lifelong friends.

  3. I have a knack for teaching and enjoy it immensely. That's why in my life, I've been a martial arts instructor, dance instructor, and even taught classes at a DJ school, focusing on ergonomics and risk prevention for DJs, which was really cool!

  4. Something I've always done instinctively is to teach through play, and I can tell you, it's the best way to learn and, in general, the best way to do almost anything.

  5. I love music and consider it very important in my daily life. Imagine that at a very young age, I participated in a Zarzuela choir, which is a type of very ancient Spanish music, and just before the pandemic, I had the honor of singing with the UN choir. A few years ago, out of love for the art, I became a DJ, and living in Barcelona, you can really enjoy playing music by the sea.

  6. See how important my relationship with music is? I even married a music teacher and am asking her to teach me how to play the trombone, but she doesn't pay much attention; I think she believes I'm too old for that.

  7. Do you like animals? Well, I love them! I've always had a special connection with them as if they were drawn to me. Dogs usually seek me out to play or keep me company. When I first met my wife and went to her house, her cat immediately adopted me, to my new girlfriend's surprise. Would you believe that when I was a teenager, we had a monkey at home? Yes, its name was Terry."
